This past month or so must be Vancouver’s rainiest ever, but then we always say that about the weather here. Spring chores (read boat repairs) are delayed and feeling like they’ll never be done and the camera sits on the shelf. There are close-up opportunities though. With Vancouver’s Stanley Park being, unarguably, the most magnificent urban park in the world, it is sometimes difficult to notice the smaller things. I’ve been making a point, lately, of having a close look at features of Devonian Harbour Park. This little appendix of Stanley Park at the Georgia Street entrance is usually ignored as people gaze into the forest of its big brother. Here are a few shots of the underdog.
